The Basics
The Basics is an introduction to training. This gives us an opportunity to discuss your training needs and to evaluate your dog’s current skill set.
PRESCHOOL TRAINING
(1 DAY A WEEK FOR 5 WEEKS) $150
-All Baseline Training Basics
-Hand Feeding
-Leash Tethering and tethering exercise
-Bite Inhibition, Handling, Gentling
-Eye Contact Exercise
-Luring to sit
-Using Treats as a Lure
-Luring Recall
Part 1 -Potty Training (home exercises)
-Crate Training (home exercises)
-Games and Socialization Activities
ALL OF THESE MUST BE ACCOMPLISHED BEFORE MOVING ON TO NEXT PHASES
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TRAINING
(1 DAY A WEEK FOR 5 WEEKS) $150
-Review Tethering Exercise Includes Leash Proper Training
-Real-Life Reward System
-Sit: Hand Signal, From Lure to Cue
-Sit: Withdraw Treats
-Recall: Increase Luring Distance, Add Verbal Cue
-Down
-Release: Verbal Cue
-Review Hand-Feeding and Crate Training
-Bite Inhibiting, Handling, Gentling
-AKC S.T.A.R. (Socialization Training Activity Responsibility) Puppy Program and Completion
-Games and Socialization

MIDDLE SCHOOL TRAINING
(1 DAY A WEEK FOR 5 WEEKS) $150
-Walking (including heeling)
-Sit: Add Verbal Cues
-Puppy Pushups
-Cookie Sit-Stay
-Sit-Stay (alternative method)
-Off and Take It
-Recall and Sit Combo With Release
-Catch Your Dog Doing Something you Like
-Potty Training review
-Baseline Behaviors
-AKC C.G.C. (Canine Good Citizen) Training and Completion
ONCE COMPLETED THIS STAGE WE WILL REVIEW AND MOVE OFF TO HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL
HIGH SCHOOL TRAINING

-Stay Until Recalled: Add Distance, Duration and Distractions
-Down: Naming Behavior
-Standing Pose
-Off and Take It Trades

-Advanced C.G.C. (Canine Good Citizen) Training and Completion

College Level: Play nice therapy dogs university
